Kamala Harris' husband, Douglas Emhoff, did not take kindly to an animal rights protester who stormed a stage and grabbed his wife's mic from her hands during a forum in California over the weekend. The incident took place on Saturday while Harris was fielding questions at the Big Ideas Forum in San Francisco that was staged by MoveOn, a political organization aligned with the Democratic Party. Harris was being interviewed by MoveOn’s Karine Jean-Pierre and Stephanie Valencia of EquisLabs when Aidan Cook, 24, of Oakland, California, jumped on stage and grabbed the microphone out of the stunned senator's hands. Harris remained calm as the long-haired man wearing an animal rights t-shirt held the microphone. Cook's actions brought Emhoff out of his seat along with several security guards who surrounded the man onstage, a moment that has sent Twitter into a frenzy.
