A little while ago I built my first Neve 1073 style mic preamp from Sound Skulptor, The MP573. It is a fantastic mic preamp with that true Neve 1073 sound. It sounds amazing and I use it to record drums, vocals, bass, guitars and basically everything I can throw at it. For more info check www.soundskulptor.com
