According to CD Projekt Red, the minimum requirements for Cyberpunk 2077's RT Overdrive, or path tracing mode, is an RTX 3090. Now the RTX 3090 does not support DLSS 3 Frame Generation, and the RTX 4070 Ti is pretty much on par with a 3090 / 3090 Ti when it comes to performance, so we'll be testing whether you can actually run Cyberpunk 2077 RT Overdrive without frame generation, or DLSS 3, enabled.
RT Overdrive, or Path Tracing, is a ray tracing technique that is a lot more demanding, and requires a lot more GPU power than normal ray tracing. The result is more accurate lighting and shadows, that should create a better immersive experience. That is, if you can actually get it to run at a reasonable frame rate.
