Most emerging filmmaking talent come up against the same obstacle time and time again -- a great idea, but no story -- or at least a story that first needs to be found. This session is all about how to make sure your idea has a solid story arc and your film has a narrative that engages an audience from the start. Our panel made up of filmmakers, editors, execs and commissioners will guide you through the tips and tricks of storytelling, the importance of finding your character and how to identify a clear structure through the multifarious themes that make up your doc idea.
