In this video, we look at a potential model answer for the GCSE Geography AQA Paper 3 12 marker. This question usually asks you to make a decision on whether the geographical issue (in this case building a waste incinerator in Cambridge) is a good idea or not. The project did not get the go ahead, but was this the right decision? There is no right or wrong answer, however you need to be able to justify your decision with valid arguments that use both the resource booklet and your own knowledge. It would be worth learning this answer, and then you can adapt it for the real exam. Remember, 3 marks are for SPaG so make sure you use your capitals, punctuation and a range of key geographical terms. A good place to start is with words like social, economic, environmental, local, national and global.
