The Kato F40PH has gone trough many iterations over the years and now Kato is employing Kobo, their custom paint shop, to do several regional roads.
We took the colorful Tri Rail and did a complete sound a light installation. This mod includes the LokSound micro ver 4 full featured DCC decoder, our function extenders, a Digitrax TL1 single function decoder and the addition of 7 TopHobbyTrains LED assemblies. We even put in a convenience plug that makes reprogramming simpler. We round out the installation with our custom sound project including our 'On The Fly' sound and light options.
In all this is one of our most intricate projects but one that takes model railroading to an new level of realism.
