Follow our quick and simple video guide on the use of Meglio Resistance Bands.
In this video, we'll show you how to use a Meglio resistance band to perform scapular retraction. This is the first exercise in the process of correcting upper body posture.
In order to create resistance to the exercise, take the band and attach it to a point above your head (E.G door frame or stair bannister). Once you have safely secured the band, grasp both ends with each hand. Take up a suitable level of resistance, so that if you relax your arms they are pulled upwards by the band. The first stage of this movement is to take your arms from a relaxed position up high, down and back with your shoulder blades together. It’s important to keep your neck in a good, stable position whilst completing this exercise. Aim to focus on a point at eye level and try not lift your head up or to let your head drop.
