The seven trumpets are seven vindictive judgements that commence after the casting of the censer in Revelation 8:5. Four devastations and three woes. This signals a time of great tribulation on earth.
There is no more delay, these judgements fall in response to our unrestrained evil and hardness of heart. The first trumpet, fire and hail mixed with blood signifies that blood has been shed for our sins and there is still mercy, a chance to receive salvation.
The world has never seen anything like what is coming during this time, and all will be faced with a choice. Give in to the beast system and avoid persecution or submit to God's law and face death. This is a testing time, the judgement of the living before the return of Jesus Christ.
