Here is a recipe of box patties that are crispy on the outside and tasty filling on the inside.

Ingredients:
Makhan (Butter) 1 tbs
Ajwain (Carom Seeds) ½ tsp
Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp
Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tsp
Adrak (Ginger) chopped 1 tsp
Mater (peas) boiled ½ cup
Aloo (Potato) boiled 1 cup
Gajar (Carrot) chopped ¼ Cup
Shimla Mirch (Capsicum) chopped ¼ Cup
Hari Mirch (Green chili) chopped 1 tsp
Hara pyaz (Green onion) chopped ½ Cup
Chili flakes 1 tsp
Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste
Bund gobhi (Cabbage) chopped 1 Cup
Fresh Coriander leaves 2 tbs
Assembling:
Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 Tbs
Pani (Water) 1-2 tbs or as required
Samosa Patti 10-12
Cooked Vegetables
Oil for frying
Directions:
In a wok, add butter and let it melt.
Add Carom Seeds, cumin seeds and roast for 1-2 min
Add garlic, ginger and fry until lightly golden.
Add boiled potato, carrot and capsicum, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Add green onion, chili flakes, salt, and mix well.
Add cabbage, Fresh Coriander leaves, and mix well.
Add the vegetable mixture in a bowl and let it cool down.
In all-purpose flour, add water and mix well to make a paste & set aside.
Take two samosas, Patti, place one samosa Patti horizontally, apply all-purpose flour paste then place second samosa Patti vertically over the first one, it will make plus (+) sign.
Add vegetable mixture and apply all-purpose flour paste and fold all sides to make a square box.
Make sure that all sides are properly sealed and prepare the remaining box patties similarly.
Yields (10-12). It can be store for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
In frying pan, heat oil and fry box patties from both sides until golden brown.
Serve with tomato ketchup.
