The San Diego Chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States (UNA - USA, San Diego), is a 501c3 non-profit, fully volunteer organization founded in 1946 that promotes engagement with the United Nations locally, with a strong focus on Human Rights and Sustainable Development As a program of the UN Foundation since 2009, we do not obtain any financial support for our daily work. From the 74 years that our organization has been in San Diego we have continuously been the most active UNA-USA chapter of the country, one of the very few that holds consultative status to the United Nations.
