India has just witnessed the highest-ever spike of Covid-19 cases in a day in the world. India’s Covid caseload now stands at 2,14,91,598, with 4,14,188 new cases having been reported in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 36,45,164 active cases in the country. As many as 3,915 deaths were registered in 24 hours, taking the toll up to 2,34,083. As many as 16,49,73,058 Covid vaccine doses have been administered.
