This Sweet Lake was on my bucket list for quite a long time and we finally made it there on our last day in Goa.
10 minutes walk around the cliff to the north of Arambol beach & you find yourself at a secluded stretch of sand, bathed by sea on one side & a tranquil sweet water lake on the other. There are a few restaurants, sun lounges & beach huts there.

Sweet Water Lake - 3:00
Paragliding Spot - 4:25
Trek to Arambol Jungle - 4:50
Banyan Tree - 9:30
Mud Bath - 12:10

Go beyond, into the forested valley enclosed between low hills, & you find a spectacular banyan tree. Not even a cellphone beep disturbs the peace as no signals reach the place. We walked across the jungles for around 20 minutes to reach the baba, the walk was quite tiring. Once we reached We could see a few Russians playing soothing music. As we ventured into the jungles we could see natural Multani Mitti available near the pools.

The place was first discovered by an Israeli tourist. He cleaned the area & began arranging parties for tourists under the Banyan tree. Presently, a 'baba' sits under the Banyan tree & is a big draw for foreign tourists. Tourists, Locals, and Foreign take the trouble to walk for about 45 minutes through the narrow forest lanes in the valley to reach this place, which has no access road, not even a cell phone work here as no signal reached the place.
This place is like a meditation center in the jungle, which has a fire pit over there, some local vendors also visit the place to sell fruits and mineral water too.
