Last night was my first Dance class in France.
Had an amazing time with the Afro Mundo Community Yesterday.
Participants were from diverse backgrounds, a Journalist, Social worker, an Archaeologist, translator, a Lecturer, a Therapist, a Yoga teacher and so on.. and guess what? They were all women!
About two of them had visited Lagos while a few others had visited various countries on the African continent.
I shared with them basic trending/Popular moves in Lagos like Kpakujemu by - @emmax_daniel
LabaLaba by - @bboywewisdom
And the currently trending Bante Dance by - @slaytwinsoff @slaytwins_1
One of the students (Chanah) from Miami USA said she recently did her DNA test and the result showed she was of Nigerian decent by 22 percent. She came to the class to celebrate the result!
Learnt from them and also shared some Lagos energy with them.
Thanks to @afromundo_lyon & @thepeoplecentre for Making this Happen!
