He has never over stayed the 90 day limit a tourist visa provides. That is, until now. Not only is he 9 days over the 90 but he has also been told on numerous occasions to get a new passport because of the wear and tear on his (it expires in a few months). D'Angelo normally does the Los Chiles land border crossing into Nicaragua. The last couple times he has been hassled (the old bark is worse than the bite thing) about getting his residency. We got cheap tickets at $130 round trip. We had no idea what was about to happen.
