Arguably the best singer Bengal ever produced.. Akhil Bandhu Ghosh's life was a picture of tragic and unfortunate lack of recognition when compared to his exceptional talent and humility. He immortalized numerous songs through his genius, but never truly got his due during his life time.. passing away in great poverty almost unceremoniously at a ripe old age. The unfortunate and staggering lack of information available even on the internet about this genius might be one of a kind.

I got to hear his songs during my childhood years through my dad, and i can honestly say that some of his tunes have stayed with me even now.. and i'm sharing one such unforgettable track with you folks.
