The Casio MTD-1079 Super Illuminator uses two batteries. One is only for the clock part of the watch and the other is only for the backlight part of the watch. In this video I show you how to open the back of the watch and remove the backlight device so that you can reach the battery of the clock portion of the watch. I decided not to replace the battery in the backlight device because I rarely use it and I figured it would last through another battery change. But, to be clear, Casio recommends that whenever you change one battery you should also replace the other, whether it needs to be replaced or not. This watch uses module 5373 from Casio.
