This is the first (northern) of the two water crossings at the trailhead of Clohesy Lake off-road trail. This was in the afternoon in early June (2017), so the snowmelt for the day was probably near its peak. For reference, the Jeep has (well, "had": RIP Vera...) a 4.5" lift and 31" Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I was fortunate that, despite the deep water flowing *directly* at the air intake location for the XJ, I didn't suck any water in and hydro lock, or choke it and stall. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for all the rigs in our group that day.
