For nonveg lovers you can 100 gms minced mutton kheema instead of carrot but make sure to cook it seperately then add it.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup raw rice(You can use seeraga sambar rice too)
1/8 cup split moong dal
1 medium sized onion(roughly chopped)
1 medium sized tomato(roughly chopped)
1/4 cup carrot(roughly chopped)
1/4 cup mint leaves(tightly packed)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp coriander leaves(finely chopped)
3 cups water
1/2 cup thin coconut milk
1/2 cup thick coconut milk
salt to taste
Spice powders:
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
To temper:
2 tsp oil
1 inch cinnamon
2 nos cloves
1 whole cardamom
1 no green chilli
