Jesse Leach admitted numerous times that he didn’t know how to properly scream during his early days in Killswitch Engage. His voice would then blow out in 2017. For me, it was quite obvious he had a problem with his voice by that year. He would then get vocal surgery, which would lead him to learn how to scream properly and sing again. Ever since that has happened, he’s sounded better than ever.
