Ok, this topic may seem confusing for some. No worries, I tried to break it down as easy as possible... Just remember this: Fully saturate the soil the the depth you believe the root system of your plant to be. Let soil dry somewhat in between watering. Rinse and repeat.

Key is to let the soil dry in between watering. Plants that benefit from deep watering are extremely forgiving. Don't over think it.
