"Haikyuu!! the Movie: Endings and Beginnings" was the first of two Haikyuu!! recap movies. It was shown in theaters from July 3 to 16, 2015. The movie is about an hour and 30 minutes long, and covers episodes 1 to 13 of season 1. Although tons of material had to be cut (Aobajōsai does not appear in the movie), one movie-original scene and one manga-only scene were included. "Young Kuroo and Kenma" was previously only featured in chapter 32 of the Haikyuu!! manga.
