Everybody always wants more clients, and there are a lot of places out there and techniques for attaining new clients, but none of them are as effective and ripe for the picking as referral/word of mouth.
When you read a blog, listen to a podcast or watch a video and a designer is talking about their work experience you will hear them say 90% of the time that they get all their business from word of mouth... HOW!!!
It's true it is the number one way to get clients, so here are a few tips for getting those referrals.
1. Do amazing work and help the client have an amazing experience with you.
2. Make the ask... like actually verbally ask them
3. Follow up with the lead and with your original client
