The Witch making an example of the man who betrayed her by public humiliation and exile. We fully believe that the Xanthous King, Jeremiah, was the husband of the Witch of Izalith. He betrays her trust with an affair with the goddess of love, Fina, resulting in him being infected with the parasite that would become his "crown." Thus begins Izalith (and more-so the Witch's) downfall.
