This video discusses if setting up an IP camera system with a managed PoE switch is necessary. The main purpose of a managed PoE switch is to adjust power and data output accordingly. If our cameras are all the same make and model, we don’t need to modify the power and data output, so an unmanaged PoE switch will be enough for data gathering.
