In this video, I break down why as a camera operator I use the Panasonic EVA 1 and LUMIX GH5S for corporate video production and why I switched from Canon.
I come from a Canon C300, C100 and 7D Mark II background so, these two cameras felt like a very natural progression from those older Canon cinema cameras. There are naturally some quirks with both the EVA 1 and GH5S but I think against the competition from Canon, Sony, JVC and Blackmagic, they absolutely have a place in the market and hold their own in terms of colour science, image quality, usability and ISO performance.
