Apo Island is known for its many sea snakes such as the venomous Sea Krait. We have seen this snake unusually large around Apo Island. Truly amazing are the many options for mud diving and looking for Octopus. From a the small to the large including some of the most unconventional ones such as Wunderpus Octopus, the Motati, the Blue-Ringed Octopus, and even the Pygmy Octopus can be frequently found around Apo Island. Since they are masters of camouflage and truly smart animals they are not always easy to spot.
