In this video, I show my latest campaign where I started as Milan. My goal was to form the Roman Empire and get the Mare Nostrum Achievement. In order to get the achievement, you most reform Roman Emire and own every province on the coast of both the Mediterranean and Black Seas. This is not that difficult of an achievement, even as a Milan start. It is however pretty difficult to achieve a World Conquest with Milan as an Ambrosian Republic. You cannot Personal Union and you cannot become emperor of the HRE. You have to battle numbers of coalitions. This is not a guide on how to form rome eu4 but rather a timelapse video. in the process and they are definitely one of the strongest nations to form in EU4 in 2020. You get a sick Italian mission tree and an amazing idea set for conquering.
