This Elsa Doll cake from the Disney movie Frozen starts with a fluffy vanilla cake and blue tinted Italian Meringue buttercream. You can make a square cake and shape it yourself with a knife, or do like I did and use a cake pan made especially for these dress cakes (link below). After the buttercream smooths out the dress shape I use purple and white fondant for the first dress layer and then multiple dreamy shades of blue fondant for Elsa’s beautiful skirt. Her top is white fondant sprinkled with sparkly edible luster dust and adorned with edible pearls. I used some white food coloring to paint some snow shapes onto her dress to make it less plain.
