In the movie Goodfellas, Robert De Niro doesn't like the way fake money feels in his hand and wants to use real money. So the prop master withdrew several thousand dollars of his own money to be used, but at the end of each take, no one was allowed to leave the set until all the money had been returned and counted. The reason for this is to avoid mixing the real money with the fake money, because De niro is the only one who uses real money on the set. Sometimes it's expensive to use famous actors in a movie.
