The first prototype of water skis was created by Ralph Samuelson in his teenage years and nowadays he is thought to be one of the youngest inventors, who have come up with such a famous technology.
Ralph Samuelson, apart from using wooden staves for skimming on the water, is credited with the first jump on the water with the help of the skis of his design.
