“Indovinello” means “the game of guessing the word” and that’s what we are going to do today!
Here’s how it works and how to play it.
I’m going to describe a word in Italian only. The word can be an object, an animal, an action, anything. You listen to my description and try to guess it.
This game is an incredible exercise to improve your Italian listening, comprehension, and vocabulary skills while having fun, and in fact, I use this technique all the time with my students and they make huge improvements thanks to it.
