When you're trying a menstrual cup how long should you keep trying before giving up? The learning curve usually takes 1-3 cycles. If after 3 full cycles your cup continues to leak, be uncomfortable or even causes pain, the signs are pointing to it being an issue with the cup. Of course there are exceptions to this that can point to user error but if you've tried every trick in the book to fix your issues it's probably time to stop with that particular cup. Don't make yourself miserable. A cup not working isn't a sign NO cups will work for you.
