At 4 and 5 years old, a child's ear is at its peak of musical sensitivity. Learning music is as natural as learning to speak. This comprehensive music course goes beyond just playing on the piano and develops well-rounded musicians through listening, singing, playing and reading.
Yamaha Teaching Method
Listen
Listening to different musical styles develops ears that are sensitive to subtle nuances of sound.
Sing
Singing in solfege (do-re-mi) helps children develop pitch sense and musical expression.
Play
Playing what has been sung is a natural way for students to perform expressively. Playing with others helps further develop rhythmic sense.

Children learn basic music theory such as note reading through age-appropriate activities
Yamaha Music Education System
Systematic Education System
Through extensive research and experimentation, Yamaha has developed its own materials, including textbooks and exam system.
Timely Education
Our curriculum was designed with the stages of a child's development in mind to inspire and motivate children to learn effectively according to their needs and interests.
Comprehensive Education
Yamaha develops well-rounded musicians with good aural and rhythmic sense. Students are able to do more than just playing an instrument. As they mature in the program, children can improvise and compose their own music with ease.
Group Lessons
Children learn effectively in a group through making music in ensemble, performing in front of a friendly audience and experiencing the joy of making music together.
