The Oyster was originally released in 1926 which marked the first waterproof and dustproof wristwatch in the world. Given the name “Oyster”, this watch featured a hermetically sealed case which provided optimal protection for the movement.
When Rolex introduced the automatic movement for their Oyster model, they introduced the name "Perpetual".
This specific Oyster Perpetual features a stunning sunburst rhodium dial which catches the light beautifully. The dial has blue 5-minute markings which contrast the gray beautifully.
