The genesis for the project came after a disappointing Google search for the 10 most beautiful streets in London. What did I find? Over a dozen blogs listing a bunch of unconvincing and mostly unimpressive "Instagrammable" streets from various tourists who simply don't know the city like a local does. Having lived and breathed London for 10 years across multiple bases (flats, jobs and... well, ex-girlfriends' flats) I feel a responsibility to show the world where the beauty really lies in the UK's capital.
The plan is as follows: upload 100 or more walks of streets which I feel belong on the list in no particular order. After this comes the challenge where I assemble them in order and present the list to the world.
Having sunk some serious hours in already, I have a shortlist of just over 100 streets for consideration. I must stress, if you have suggestions for streets you'd like to see then please discuss in the comments below. I respond to almost all comments! I will take likes/dislikes as a form of feedback as well, of course. Plus if you have friends and family who love London, by all means share the videos! I could use all the feedback I can get. :)

Hidden away in the northern end of Notting Hill is St Luke's Mews, W11. It is comprised of two distinct parts, divided by All Saints road at the 2:06 mark. Walking from east to west, we start in the section that is considered an original/surviving mews, whereas the western section has been redeveloped.
Originally the street served as stable/coach house accommodation for the larger properties in Lancaster Road and Westbourne Park Road.
At the 1:38 mark we see a pink house. This was used as the filming location in Love Actually of Keira Knightley's character's house in that creepy "say it's carol singers" scene. Any guys reading this - don't pull a stunt like that on your best friend's wife.
Filmed: June 2020

Filmed on a Sony FDR-AX700 with a Zhiyun Crane 2 and a Rode Videomicro.
