Petroglyphs Provincial Park is a small park near Stoney Lake, Ontario. Known for it's impressive presence of indigenous rock carvings (petroglyphs). Visitors are not permitted to film or record at the petroglyphs site due to spiritual reasons, but I highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area. Also not included in this video is a short film you can watch at the visitor centre about the history of this place also known as "The Teaching Rocks". There are a few hiking trails in the park however we were on a time restraint so we couldn't do them on this visit.

Also included in this video is the absolutely beautiful McGinnis Lake, located within the park. McGinnis Lake is special because it's a "meromictic lake" - meaning that the layers of water do not intermix as they do in regular "holomictic lakes". This creates a whole different environment for organisms and minerals. Feel free to look up the definition for more info :)
