This is how we make our [ Ссылка ] Montreal Maple Bacon Burnt Ends Jerky. It’s a relatively simple process and starts with the smokey end pieces from slabs of high quality bacon. It’s the perfect sweet and salty snack that is meant to be savored!
This flavor was inspired by some of my favorite memories growing up. Every summer we went camping up north, and we were a family who exclusively slept in tents and cooked food directly over the camp fire. Every morning my dad would be up super early cooking breakfast and it usually involved bacon, fresh blueberry pancakes and eggs. He did this thing where he would cook the pancakes and bacon in the same cast iron pan, then top the whole thing with maple syrup to caramelize while they finished cooking. We ate out of these little metal tins and it’s a smell and flavor combination that I will always cherish.
