Pododermatitis (commonly referred to as bumblefoot) is a common condition in larger poultry. The most common presentation is swelling with a buildup of pus in the foot.
In advanced cases, this often requires surgical removal of the pus.
Left untreated, this condition is painful and can cause significant mobility issues for a bird.
The rooster in this video is one of the lucky ones. His owner acted and sought help for her bird's sore foot.
