Here's answers to other great questions I've had!
1) "Does synchronize work?"
Yes synchronize still works, it shouldn't be done to hunt because things get complex, but for just having a good natured Pokémon it works.
2) "How common are shiny frames?"
The actual occurence of shiny frames should average 1 every ~2.27 minutes.
3) "What if Emerald has a dead battery?"/"If my emerald has a working battery is it okay?"
An Emerald with a dead internal battery doesn't effect the RNG or act any different than other Emeralds. They all function like this REGARDLESS OF BATTERY. (at least concerning the concepts I covered in the video)
4) "Can I turn off my game or does it need to be on for the whole hunt?"
Yes, it is ok to turn off your game, people think frames are far apart so they need to keep it on to hit further frames, but since we've deducted how common they are, turning it off is okay!
5) "Does this problem exist in Fire Red and Leaf Green?"
Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green do not have a battery and are not subject to this problem by any means at all.
6) "I found a shiny, does this mean I can get more shinies"
Finding shinies is 100% irrelevant. That and the game's functions are independent variables. All the functions work the exact same still.
