Super Rare Sacagawea dollar 2000 worth thousand! Don't spend this!
How is it going guys! For this episode I’m going to show this brilliant uncirculated
2000 Sacagawea dollar coin struck by Denver mint. I bought it just like that inside mint
cello. It is most probably at mint state 65 or 66. Let me remove it from the cello
until then make sure to hit subscribe and bell buttons if you haven’t done it yet.
Coin displays excellent strike and preservation state. Emanating superlative luster is seen over
deep orange-red almost mirror like surfaces that show no mentionable contact marks.
Reverse
side of this coin has enchanting appealing as well. Strike is impeccable across even
the most intricate details of the eagle. But not enhance motifs on the tail feather
like in Cheerios dollar coins. The 2001-D Sacagawea Dollar is
very common in circulated and lower uncirculated grades as mint produced
over 70 million of them in Denver. In MS64 to MS66 it requires some searching from
mint sets and rolls. In MS67 condition they become somewhat scarce with several
thousand examples known. In Ms68 condition it is now very scarce with possibly no more than
200 examples known and none being finer. The most expensive regular struck specimen
is this dollar coin at mint state 68 which was sold for $546.25 at Heritage Auctions.
Most valuable Sacagawea dollars are those struck on wrong planchets. This is 2001-P Sacagawea
dollar struck on quarter planchet. Graded at mint state 64 by NGC. A bit underweight for
a statehood quarter planchet, which weighs 5.67 grams per the Guide Book. This lustrous and well
preserved piece has full legends, although AMERICA is tight, and the right-side rims
are absent. Mostly white with faint tan toning and a couple of dabs of cherry-red patina.
The 2001-P has a much lower mintage than the first-year 2000-P and 2000-D. Sold on Jan 10,
2009 for: $5,750.00 at Heritage Auctions.
