Joining the "Everybody Wants To Rule The World"-hype/challenge. The idea is to imply a 6/4 'half time' drum groove on top of the original 12/8 'shuffle' groove. Instead of just improvising in 6/4, I've tried to take it up a notch: playing smooth transitions from 6/4 to 12/8 feel and back again, ONLY by displacing my snare (i.e. the back beat). So hihat and kick stay the same throughout the song! Which was actually quite harder than I thought it would be... Enjoy & do try this at home! M
