Local and Creative Productions videographer Gary Tresize filmed the 2023 Gold Coast Marathon and put together this portion of footage showing the start of the big race.

Naoki Koyama from Japan was the winner and set a new course record of 2.07.40.

Sadly, one man lost his life during the race after suffering a fatal heart attack:
