Joined up with the owner of a local motorcycle dealership Riley's Powersports and ended up following him around for an impromptu stunt ride. He lost me once the traffic opened up because of the higher top speed of the MT-07, but the CB kept up really well through traffic and was often left waiting for the MT to pick a line so it could go through. The CB was able to flick through traffic and cars like they are barely there, considering the mt-07 weighs, no joke, over 100 pounds more than the CB300R with a full tank.
Regarding the *very* close call I had just before the 9 minute mark; yea I fucked that up. Admittedly, the car was somewhat putting the squeeze on me, and yes, they did actually contact my motorcycle. Their rear tire contacted my front tire and made a rubbery squeak noise and my right foot clipped the rear quarter panel. All in all, I think I handled the situation pretty well, I tilted the bike over so as to narrow my bikes profile and better fit through the gap, and when the car touched I stayed calm and firm on the bike, and accelerated as best I could in and out of there. The bike wasn't upset by the contact and no damage was caused to either vehicle, so I call it a win. Now obviously, I probably should've just, not tried to filter there. The best kinds of mistakes are the ones you can walk away from as well as learn from.
