At the conclusion of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was sitting behind the president during the speech, stood up and ripped a copy of his speech in half. Trump delivered his annual State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 4. The speech came the day before he is expected to be acquitted of articles of impeachment in the Senate and a day after voting in the 2020 presidential nomination process kicked off in Iowa.
