The World Health Organization says the spread of polio is an international public health emergency. It says that if the current situation is left unchecked, it could result in the failure to eradicate one of world's most serious, but preventable diseases. The WHO is particularly concerned about the situation in Cameroon, Pakistan, and Syria. Al Jazeera's Dominic Kane reports.
