This was my experience at a Taylormade STEALTH fitting event at my local golf store. Not sure what to expect, I booked a driver and irons fitting appointment and decided to get as much out of it as possible.

Being a beginner and 30 handicap currently, I wanted to see how new fitted equipment could affect my game and if its worth it. I Figured I couldn't be the only high handicap player with questions about the process of fitting, expectations of player and fitter, affordability, and gear. So I decided to document the whole process and ask tons of questions.

Typically fitting are free if you buy the equipment at a golf store. Since this was a launch event for Taylormade's new products, it was a demo and fitting. The obvious pro to this is that its free. the downfall is that you are only testing Taylormade equipment, where in a typical fitting you will most likely try multiple brands out. It never hurts to try out new equipment and get on a launch monitor with professionals.

After this experience I would highly encourage a fitting no matter the skill level. And a big thank you to the fitters for dealing with all my questions and for letting me film everything.
