Earwig and the Witch l Official Trailer


Studio Ghibli, the studio that is staffed by Hayao Miyazaki, as previously reported, is working on a film called Earwig and the Witch (Earwig to Majo) or also known in Japan as Aya and the Witch (Aya to Majo). The film will be directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro Miyazaki, and made with CG 3D technology, unlike films made by Studio Ghibli in general made with traditional 2D technology. Unlike most Studio Ghibli films, the film is planned to be screened on television, NHK General TV in the winter of 2020. Earwig and the Witch were announced to be released on December 30, 2020.
