Honda will be celebrating at this year’s Isle of Man TT, as 2019 marks the Japanese manufacturer's 60th anniversary racing at the event. In 1959 – five years after his initial visit - Soichiro Honda returned to the TT races with a full racing team. Since its first race, Honda has amassed a total of 183 wins across all classes, making them the most successful manufacturer ever, at the TT.
An indelible part of the Honda UK history, our presence at the Isle of Man TT 2019 is a chance for us to share the Honda heritage and reminisce about all the Honda wins at this challenging race. The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is one of the toughest competitions and we feel very proud that Honda road racing has managed to dominate it throughout the years, proving the abilities of both the Honda motorcycles and their legendary riders.
But it's not all about Honda retro bikes at this Honda anniversary. We're very much looking forward to the Isle of Man TT Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade performance this year! And we're certain that we'll get another year of clear proof that the Isle of Man TT = real road racing!
