The Army Painter's D&D Adventurer's Paint Set and Monster Paint Set will give you everything you need to go wild painting your miniatures, and are the perfect starting point if you're looking for an all-in-one solution to starting painting miniatures. Goblins populate almost every early encounter, and beyond being a classic of the fantasy genre, are just fun to paint!
In the Monster Paint Set is a colour actually called Goblin Skin, which is a pallid, sickly skin tone - it reminds me a little of Gothmog from the climactic battles in 'The Return of the King.' Personally, I've always imagined goblins to be green, so it's a matter of personal choice how you want to go ahead and paint yours. The beauty of fictional species is that there's ordinarily no strict rules on what's correct. I've looked up D&D images which feature both green skin and the yellowish tint of Goblin Skin from the paint set, so anything goes!
This miniature comes from Crooked Dice's Goblin Command set: [ Ссылка ] It's a neat little set of characters that'd work brilliantly for a cast of troublemakers and a villain with a monologue. It was sent to me by Alan - thank you, Alan! - and I knew straight away I had to paint the fella picking his nose. Of course.
