In this first webinar, prof. dr. Kris Myny (imec / KU Leuven) provides a general overview of the world of Flexible Electronics. He introduces the next webinars in this series to get the EUROPRACTICE community acquainted with the field of Flexible Electronics. This field covers a broad spectrum of applications, including flexible display, flexible solar cell, flexible RFID, flexible lighting and many others.
The goal is to create a basic understanding of the technology, trigger interest with people from other fields, and understand their needs and challenges. The webinar also aims to encourage researchers, innovators and industry personnel to explore the opportunities available for their specific applications.
The overall goal of this EUROPRACTICE webinar series is not only to enhance the knowledge of its user community but to make an incremental step towards enlarging the EUROPRACTICE service portfolio with Flexible Electronics technologies and associated hybrid integration.
